EQ3 OPENING WINTER 2005
EQ3 is the latest store to join Downtown Burbank's hot mix of retailers like Urban Outfitters, Active, O My Sole and Skyblupink. Famous for its modern, sophisticated designs, EQ3 carries furnishings that bring the idea of "furniture as fashion" into the home, loft or apartment. EQ3 products are designed to be used in eclectic mix-and-match styling. New furniture and accessories are added to the EQ3 line twice a year.

Located in the space formerly occupied by Book City, EQ3 will cover most functions in the home: living, dining, sleeping and working, as well as related accessories like bedding, lighting, carpeting, dishware, glassware, cutlery, clocks, mirrors and storage products. The store is slated to open in time for the Holiday season.

"We're thrilled to be part of the revitalization of Downtown Burbank," says Doug Smith, franchisee and operator of EQ3 in Downtown Burbank. "EQ3 will add to what is becoming an exciting destination to shop, eat, see a movie or just hang out."

CORNER BAKERY CAFÉ OPENING AT BURBANK TOWN CENTER
Corner Bakery Café is opening at Grinnell and San Fernando Boulevard in the space formerly occupied by KooKooRoo. Originally created to bake breads for sister restaurant Maggiano's Little Italy, Corner Bakery was in such high demand that the bakery developed into its own café and now offers a full selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, pastas and sweets. Corner Bakery is scheduled to open in November.

Bed, Bath, and Beyond is expected to open in the middle of September on the bottom floor at the Burbank Town Center.
