The Downtown Burbank Fine Arts and Chalk Festival returns for an engagement Saturday
and Sunday, June 10 and 11, 10:00 A.M. to dusk. The event, which has
expanded to include live music, pottery wheel demonstrations and chalk
artists, has built a large following in the past two years. The festival
has grown to 80 artists, with canopies and booths lined along San Fernando
Boulevard between Magnolia and Orange Grove and on the AMC Walkway. The

TECHNICOLOR'S INTERACTIVE SERVICES AND INTERNATIONAL
VERSIONING SERVICES RELOCATE TO DOWNTOWN BURBANK Technicolor Interactive Services and Technicolor International Versioning Services, divisions of Technicolor and part of the Services division of Thomson, SA, recently announced the relocation of operations from their current headquarters at 1117 Isabel Street in Burbank, to a brand new, state-of the-art design and production studio in the Cusumano Civic Plaza building at 250 East Olive Avenue in Downtown Burbank. Technicolor Interactive Services offers comprehensive design and production resources to video game developers and publishers, while Technicolor International Versioning Services creates localized versions of major motion picture releases in a wide variety of foreign languages for Hollywood film studio clients. The new facility, which consists of 40,000 square feet of office space, production suites, editing bays, and sound mixing studios, is scheduled to open in late June. The debut of the innovative location will coincide with an official grand opening event to be attended by Technicolor executives, Los Angeles-area media, city and county government officials, area business owners, and community leaders and dignitaries. "The new facility provides both business units with the necessary space, design resources, and production capabilities required to effectively meet the needs of its growing client base, including the many film studios and media-related companies in the vicinity," said Ron Horwitz, executive vice president of new media and international versioning services. "We are looking forward to being part of the burgeoning Downtown Burbank business landscape."
