Don’t miss the Downtown Burbank Fine Arts Festival on Saturday & Sunday, April 25 & 26 when more than 100 established artists join with emerging talent from the Burbank Unified School District and other schools in support of the Burbank Arts Education Foundation www.theburbankartsed.org This amazing event unites one of the region’s most acclaimed arts festivals with a great cause...supporting art in Burbank schools. An entire city block on Orange Grove between 1st Street and Third Street will be devoted to the very best in student art, both visual and performing, including lots of opportunities to participate and get involved in the arts. In addition, San Fernando Boulevard between Olive and Magnolia will be filled with award-winning painters, ceramicists, photographers, jewelry makers, chalk artists, roving entertainers and more. The Downtown Burbank Fine Arts Festival is presented twice a year by Downtown Burbank Partnership in cooperation with West Coast Artists. Fire Service Day • May 8
Join us 7:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 8 at the Burbank Police-Fire Headquarters on Orange Grove Ave & Third Street for a day of fun & festivities featuring fire service vehicles, special demonstrations and more! An annual event, National Fire Service Day is celebrated in conjunction with National Police Memorial Week with the support of Downtown Burbank. The event is free and open to the public. Join us every Thursday evening in July & August for live music and dancing under the stars on the AMC Walkway (at Palm Avenue and San Fernando Boulevard) in Downtown Burbank. Festivities start at 6:00 P.M. with free dance lessons, then at 7:00 P.M., the two-hour concert begins and everyone hits the dance floor! All of the series’ concerts are free and open to the public... so come out & dance!
Each year in early fall, Downtown Burbank Partnership hosts this amazing one-night event of great food and live entertainment. Thousand of people stroll up & down San Fernando Boulevard between Magnolia and Orange Grove sampling international and All-American specialties served outdoors by Downtown Burbank’s restaurants. People mingle with friends in a beer & wine garden. And they listen & dance to live music being performed by top bands on the Taste of Downtown Burbank outdoor stage. It’s a Howl-oween celebration with free treats for kids and a costume pet parade for dogs!
Parents are invited to bring their little monsters for an early evening of store-to-store trick-or-treating before the bigger ghosts come out. Downtown Burbank merchants will provide free treats from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. The core area for this outdoor trick-or-treat celebration will be on San Fernando Boulevard between Magnolia Boulevard and Angeleno.
Pet owners are encouraged to bring along their costumed K-9 for the 2nd Annual Downtown Dog Parade that starts at 6:00 P.M.on the AMC Walkway at San Fernando Boulevard and Palm Avenue. Owners are asked to register on-site by 5:30 P.M. on October 31. All well-behaved pets are welcome. Dogs must wear leashes.

It starts the evening of December 1 with a huge kickoff which includes the Mayor’s Treelighting ceremony, celebrity guests and Santa’s Downtown Wonderland. Then the annual celebration continues with amazing holiday events through December 12. Presented by Downtown Burbank Partnership, City of Burbank, Burbank Town Center and Burbank Community YMCA.
